And she's gone forever...!

I met her for the first time during my college first year and till now I can say with pride that she was and will be the most beautiful dog I have ever met. She was pitch black with wavy fur that gives her an angelic beauty…she was an abandoned dog! I still feel sorry for her old masters as they failed to experience the love she showered at me for the past 4 years. I was fond of her and so does she. Everyone in my home except my own pet (Sofrina) liked her. Even though she wasn’t fluffy she was healthy. My fellow street mates treated her as an ugly stray and acted as if their regular routine is getting spoiled because of her. And the scum bag of my street owned a dog which he takes to walk every morning and he said that presence of a stray in our street makes it difficult for his pet to have a walk. They complained that she was infected. But she wasn’t. She was as healthy as a dog can be. She was just desperate of love.

But they all were aware that I will not listen to their crap and was even ready to file a complaint against them if anything happens. So yes they despised me which was obvious. My mom and I fed her everyday and it was her who embraced me every evening as I walk to my home. Her love made me feel full. I named her ‘Puppy’ and every time I call her she waggles her tail as if she has met the love of her life which makes me irresistible to hug her. When it was middle of November, comes a really big trouble when all the male dogs come around her in the nastiest way. And again my street lords will create havoc and I always wanted to shout out to them but stopped by my mom who convinces me to stay out of the trouble. As a result of the hard work done by the male dogs she gets pregnant and again no one really cares about giving her some healthy food but would want her to guard the street at nights.

As usual it was my mom who took extra care for her during her pregnancy and gave her shelter under our car shed. As soon as she gives birth to the beautiful pups the people who hardly turned towards her will come running for the pups. And the innocent Puppy will not even grin at those who take pups from her. And within 30 days all the pups will be gone and she will be abandoned like before. So again the beauty yearns for the love she will never get. Every day when I return I made it sure I will meet her and let her feel the warmth of love. We grew a bond that could never be named; I don’t know if she loved me because I loved her or in the other way round. But the love was so pure that made me to thank the eternity every day. She loved me the way I am and so did I. Days passed by and the love between us grew thicker than before, and as for her life is concerned she met another dog who is much more loyal than Puppy herself. He was another stray named ‘Jimmy’, the most expressive fellow of all the worlds. From then every evening became endearing with hand full of love at my very door step. Jimmy use to jump high and hug me from my waist and at times it makes me stumble and I wonder if it is his love that makes me weak to stand at my feet.

Life could never be more blessed than having dogs around and getting drenched in the purest form of love every now and then. But there is this eternity ‘Time’ that got jealous of me and my loves. Some times what we unexpected the most happens making us understand that ‘nothing lasts forever’. But I wasn’t prepared to face this…at this time. The time we spent together was too small comparing to the approximate life span of both human and dog. I know I could not have a forever with her but still I wanted more. One early morning by last week my dad got a phone call from one of our neighbor saying that Puppy was found dead in the road…and he suggested that she would have been hit by a car. I found my heart beating faster at my throat …in an abnormal way. I don’t know…I can’t think of this and this is not how I thought the ending would be.

God could never be crueler. How can he do this to me? How can he do this to Jimmy? How am I going to face him? What will I ever do without her love? Who will love me as much as she does? Thousands of questions ran through my head as tears flowed down my cheeks. I was lost and was too naïve to believe that she is really gone. GONE. FOREVER. I went to face Jimmy who was looking for Puppy but fortunately her remains were cleaned off that made him think that she went somewhere rather than dead. This could make him go for a day but what will he do for the rest of his life. They both were so affectionate that made me wonder if they were really dogs. He sure will cry to me one day looking right into my eyes with questions that I will never have the answers. She was an angel in my life, an angel who loved me and made me love her more than anything. This bond remains unbroken for it has only beginning and no end. She will remain forever in my memories leaving her paw prints in my heart. But now she is gone…gone forever.

The Two roads!

It was quite a common day with my regular college chores until my parents came up with the idea of visiting the orphanage we use to go regularly, it was drizzling and I played some of my favorite songs in the car that just made the trip enjoyable. The travel took 30 minutes from our home and when we were going I was completely lighthearted but during the return to our home my heart was immensely heavy with loads of questions inside me. When I reached the place my mom went into the office to give our donation and my dad unpacked the clothes we brought them, I was left  tramping around the place enjoying the weather and noticed few eyes falling on me with yearning not for money or dresses but for love. There were not only orphans but also some mentally retarded people around the place and I saw no err in them other than them being the way they want or feel…well most of us are like that, we hardly mind the feeling of others, we just do what we feel to do and so do they. I just couldn’t bare them looking at me like that I don’t know what I could do so I rushed up myself into the office and was shocked to see 2 boards that were hung in the dusty wall. The one just got me in tears and the other made my parents wish they have seen it before. One of the boards says “We do not give any of our children for adoption” and I wondered why and then realized the fear that the orphanage chief has got of the society. They might adopt a child but what if at least once in a life time they treat his/her as an adopted child? That moment he/she’ll feel that all the love given to her was deceptive.  I was so moved by the quote and believed that it is because of people like them the world is still a better place. The board that made my parents regret was the ‘necessity’ board in which important mark was given to a few things and one of them was ‘phenol’. I for a moment thought when we people are busy purchasing conditioners and sun screens there are a few who lacks the most basic necessities of life.

When we made our departure a young lady came to my dad and asked for his visiting card uttering that they’ll pray for us for the gratitude we showed. My parents and I were left speechless. I thought we were given more than our necessity just to share with the needy and this is what all the religion says. Why does serving the poor becomes highlighted and glorified as an act of gratitude when it is a duty that is now forgotten? We traveled back home with vivid silence but my mind and heart were fighting with each other on the questions of life. When my heartfelt deplorable on the discrimination that the Lord has created between them and others like me which had made them think we are ‘blessed’, my mind without any blip of emotion it said aloud “It is their fate. What they sow they reap”. I was enthralled and reckoned may be most of us are mind readers with the idea of considering their life as their so called ‘karma’. But I wasn’t quite satisfied with the idea of my mind it was self-centered and wanted to shut it up. I allowed my heart to confess and after a long time after returning home my mind stopped bluffing.

We could never change everything but still we could be a part of the infinitesimal change. Though I cannot travel in their road I could at least help them lay a road they want. May be that is why He has given us two arms…to share what we have.
‘Life’ is invariably dissimilar in this world. When one run miles to get his stomach full at least once in a day there are a few who run miles to digest the food they ate in abundance. And when these two roads meet the meaning of 'Life' is  accomplished, and to this we need that 'love' called HUMANITY.

A Sad Roar...

"I was in my home ...I love my home so much as I would never leave my home for anyone else...But suddenly a few strangers came in and they stared at me as if I have conquered their place..There were lot of them and since I refused to leave my home they killed me...But I love my home ...my motherland so much and I wish I can have my next birth here.." said the dead tiger that was shot to dead by policemen of Nilgiri Forest Reserve. Who was bewildered by the idea that there is no other go but only killing.Photo: Close-up of a snarling tiger

It was us to be punished for ruining the wealth of the forest and disturbing the happy living of the four legged species. But As we are quite large in number and being obsessed with our insane 6th sense(As we gratify ourselves as if we posses such a thing) we are doing all sort of mischief to the eco system. I think We just got so much into "Darwinism" ....going after "SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST"..But know what people...When will you ever stop potraying yourself as the fittest? After demolishing the entire ecosystem? And what do you think you'll achieve by that?

When It is said "ENVIRONMENT" it do mean the animals as a part of it...We increased in numbers so we destructed their homes to build house for us...that led to the extinction of many species..and we didn't give a damn...coz why should we concerned for the death of such useless four legged animals,,,,? Right? If you ever think so I'll tell you what If you are worth living , they do too....In every way they are far better than us..THey don't know what corruption is...they don't know what betrayal is....
Stop-Animal-Cruelty

THere is a kindergarden story....There was a forest long long ago that was ruled by a giant crocodile named "MAKARA" . He was so gratified about his own strength and thought no one could defeat him and claimed that crocodiles can live without the help of other animals and ordered them to leave the forest. He asked snakes to leave as they were very slimy and tortoises as they were very slow and so on....THe forest became the home to crocodiles but inspite of his thought the forest turned out as a mess. Insects and rats proliferated as a result of the absence of snakes and adverse things happened . ANd so MAKARA decided to call them back. ANd he realized that Every life is interconnected and we depend on others for our survival.THey all came back and lived happily.Stupid crocodile by HamtaroFlower

But here we could not expect this ending as our actions results in EXTINCTION rather than being abandoned. THe moment we are going to regret is not so far. ANd when we do so we could only see the lost species in some records....We have lost nearly 20 animal species in the last 10 years around the globe. If this continues we would have this world suitable only for humano sapens in the near future. Who the hell has gave us the rights to take their lives away? THey have the equal rights in this earth. ANd why don't this just get stick into our mind? We say If we spot a species in the verge of extinction we'll breed them in captivity..why don't you just try it out with some human beings to examine how it feels? I am not being rude Im being practial....Grow up people ...whatever we do we could create only a garden and not a forest.
WHat they need is space and freedom...why don't we let them live? What harm did they do to us?animals.jpg

Please develop conern for them even if you couldn't help stop hurting atleast and learn it "KILLING COULD NEVER BE AN ANSWER" WE are made to help them and that is why we are bestowed with 6th sense not to kill them. We are their helping hands. THey need us out there ....they are our equal country men...try not to dominate them atleast. If they cause us trouble we should analyze their needs and problems from their point...Be mature ...You are not supposed to kill a species when it seeks help from you.
