Real Heroes

India is country that has harbored many cultures, religions and empires.
From the early Aryan civilization to the British, India has gone through a lot
of changes, good and bad. Good I say because of the variety of knowledge we
have gained, the insight we have procured and religions and cultures that stay in
harmony and peace. And bad because of the borders we set up around countries,
around certain sections of people and the destruction that our own brothers and sisters
cause to our country. From all the problems, there has always been a group of people who
has been protecting our motherland from problems outside and within our country. Yes,
they are the brave soldiers of the Indian army.

They stay away from their family, and protect their most respected mother, India.
They sometimes lose their lives in this process, but they are happy.
They did their best to protect their motherland. Often, these war heroes go unnoticed,
unheard and even disregarded. But the fact is, unlike heroes we see on the screen and
in the television, these are the real ones, fighting hard. Their conditions of live are tough,
but they are ready for it.

Some say that being a soldier is not rewarding.
A job is not in the money that we make rather it is in the service we
do to our society and country. We may become an engineer or a doctor,
but finally if we settle in another country and forget to give back to our own,
we have nothing for our motherland that has made you reach where you are.

When I read about the recent killing of the Indian army men at the border,
I realized that these men are the ones to be praised.
We have elected our ministers and government,
but they don’t do the duty of standing by the borders of our country
protecting us every single day and neither can we. They are praised and
then forgotten like the countless war heroes in our country.
It is such a pride to see the army officers during the parade.
It is not in their shiny uniforms rather it is in the patriotism that is
there in their hearts.
Our country should change its outlook about heroes.
Heroes are not those who go around shooting people,
getting fancy cars and getting the girl in the end, rather
real heroes are those who keep the peace of this country alive.
Real heroes are those who have spent their lives away from luxuries of
their home and family to fight for our country when needed. Real heroes
are those who put their lives in danger, to protect our lives. It is these
heroes that need the media attention and the attention of the government.
Their death should not go unwarranted or maybe a small article in the corner
of the newspaper. Rather it should be brought to the light. Think about the
families of the deceased army officers, their pain and suffering.
When these army officers die fighting, our government should ensure
that they get help and support quickly and efficiently.
The government has the duty to ensure that these families,
despite having lost their family member, can live with their head high,
without depending on others for help. This is the least our country can do
for those who have protected millions of families across the country.
If the country these officers served deserts their family in the end what
is the use of serving the country?

  Our country can stand high,
With no fear or any enemy war cry,
For we have the brave men and women,
Our army, who protect us, now and then.

Our country’s flag flutters,
The beautiful tricolor, it flutters.
I salute those officers, who gave their lives,
So that safe and sound, remains others’ lives.
For these are the brave men and women,
Our army, who protect us, now and then.

With each passing second, with each passing minute,
We may not think about them, not a bit,
But these are the ones, who have to be remembered,
Forever, the heroes to be remembered.
For these are the brave men and women,
Our army, who protect us, now and then.

I hope our country prospers,
Remains safe, forever and ever,
Let us respect the people behind this,
The valiant people behind this,
For these are the brave men and women,
Our army, who protect us, now and then.

Soul sister who never understood my soul..

Friendship a greatest possession possessed by every person . It happened even in my life.
Though i had a lot of friends i have never had a "soul sister" . But i had never felt sad for
that. Coz i always had a belief that I am gonna get someone who is worth it. It happend.
It was in 11th std i met u. When we first met I knew we are going to be great friends
but never thought you would conquire the place as my soul sister.Things we shared , things
we spoke , the time we spent together could never be explained in words.

As every relationship has it's own break our friendship went through a tough time. Yes ,
you left me. You stabbed me from back. You betrayed me. How could you ever do this to me?
This made me thought you never really loved me. You said we would be friends forever. But
I never thought your "forever" was that short. When everyone were bitching about me I
thought you would atleast try to stop them but you were a part of it. What did i ever do
to you? Loving you to the core was the only crime I did.

I knew you are a strong person but never thought you'd be this strong enough to break me
into pieces. But know what all these shattered pieces have your memories carved deeper. I
had always meant what I told you. I don't know whether you remember that or not.
I have always said and I mean't it "No one could ever replace your place both in my heart
and life". May be thats why after you left me I could never be friends with anyone.

You made me fear that every one 'll betray me as you did. You even knew that you were
my only bestie.Though I had a lot of friends, You always occupied a very special place.
But you were carefree. You seemed more happy than you were with me. What does it mean?
You never really loved me my soul sister. It was me who was fooled .
You seemed more occupied by your friends. You mean the world to them and so do they ,to
you?! But you failed to realize that someone had a lot of love for you, who thought you were
their world and felt their life is complete to have such a sweet soul sister. Do you even
realize the term "soul sister" ? You would have not . Coz you don't even know the meaning
of "besties" So where would you realize the meaning of "Soul sisters".

When I thought It was all over and I learned to live my life without a friend, you want
me back. I will tell you what . What I felt without you was emptiness and what you feel
without me is lonliness. What is the gaurentee that you'll not betray me again? How do
you expect me to accept you back? You just broke me , you weren't there for me to fix
it. When I am all set you want me. For what? Do break me again? I am sorry I think
I am not up for it.

This doesn't mean I  hate you. I could never do that. It is just I don't want to get
hurt again. You can be proud for one thing as you were the one to teach me the pain of
betrayal . And still no one could replace the place in my heart you had before
 ...neither you could.

" We said it was forever - said we'd never part,
I knew it was a line, but I still gave  you my heart.

Said you would stay, promised you could,
You chose to walk away, I knew you would.

You’re not there anymore, my dearest friend,
I hate to say this, but it is our end.

By day you’re one person, by night another,
Neither of them have anything to do with each other.

I sit here and cry for you - not for me,
What you've become, I wish you could see.

In your life you make friends that you're sure are true,
Nothing else matters, except what's between them and you.

You don't know if anyone has ever before felt this way,
For them you took breaths, you wanted to be alive everyday.

It hurts to loose a friend, it gives you the saddest frown,
And when a second one bails, it's like getting kicked while
you're down.

And it hurts to be accused of something you didn't do,
You  should know better than anyone, that I would never even think to.

You planted a knife in my back,
You were my life, but now, my memories of you are completely black.

I am afraid to love another, but I know I shouldn't be,
Because the people in my life, are perfect for me.

There is this game I play,
Where I close my eyes and fade away.

I can't believe it's true,
but in this place, I can't even remember that I trusted you.

You can't fix something that's already done."

Love..!!

Love...a lovable misery. It hits you only once and when it does you could never stand up.
It hits u as hard as tornado. But still isn't it an awesome feeling? They say you could
experience it only if you fall in love. Is It? Nah..If you fall in love where is the time to
admire it when you are busy living it. They say magic doesn't exist but if magic is false
then love have to be false.

Love is magic..You fall for someone you never thought you would.
Coz that is when you realize that it is not gravity that holds you on the earth. You see
your self and your world in a different perspective. You realize your soul and heart like
never before. Isn't that magic?

Love is rude,it never allows you to sleep. Your eyes feels heavy but still you can't sleep.
No matter whether it's one side or both side coz in love such thing doesn't even exist.
When you are in love , no matter what..your heart aches for them and you just love them ,
you'll never expect them to love you back. A true heart filled with love will never expect anything
in return. You just love them unconditionally .

Love is innocent, it never expects anything from you and it has no idea on why you fell
for them. Love always has it's own nature and form unlike lust.Coz lust hits every human
being but not love. To love is a bliss. Loving someone gives you strength. To be loved by
someone gives you courage.

To fall in love is really as quick as you fall asleep. But to remain in love requires a lot
of sacrifice. But when in love you'll never consider those sacrifices as sacrifices ,they
are considered a
s a way of expressing love. Yeah, kisses and hugs aren't the only way to
express love.

Love is Pure, as pure as a newborn's heart. It's purity could never be compromised by
any other relationship in the entire world. You feel your heart beat in them and you see your
dream through their eyes. You'll realize that you are not just made for each other but
"born for each other".

Love is unconditional. When you are swept off by your feet by your love no matter what
you'll fight for them. No matter how hard it is you'll face it. coz being in love gives you
power to turn a needle into a sword .It gives you strength to cross the entire ocean in one
leap.It gives you the ability to believe in yourself.

Love is unconditional....
Loving someone is a fairytale. When you come to know that he/she is your Prince charming/Cinderella you could never posses the strength to stay away from them.No matter how hard
the spells are ! Love makes you to love everyone around you. It removes hatred from your
heart. Love is the only language spoken by everyone, It is beyond the boundaries created by
the swords of the kings. It makes you feel perfect.

Love gives you peace. Love-Peace. Nothing else is more worth it.

SACHIN-NOT OUT !!!

Whenever you switched on the television sets and see a 5 ft 5 inch player batting, you always tend to ask-“What is his score?” or “Has he scored a century?” But now this kind of temptation will never be a part of us as Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar will retire from test cricket after his 200th test against the West Indies.

After that test, we will never see that 5 ft 5 inch man, with jersey no. 10,walking out from the pavilion to bat for team India at no.4 in test cricket. We will never see the little master again, fielding with his round hat. We will never see him celebrating with the players after each and every victory.

“All my life, I have had a dream of playing cricket for India . I have been living this dream every day for the last 24 years. It’s hard for me to imagine a life without playing cricket because it’s all I have ever done since I was 11 years old. It’s been a huge honour to have represented my country and played all over the world. I look forward to playing my 200th Test Match on home soil, as I call it a day.”-Sachin Tendulkar, in his recent statement regarding his retirement.

Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar an Indian cricketer widely acknowledged as the greatest batsman of his generation. Born in Mumbai, he took up cricket at age of eleven, made his test debut against Pakistan at just sixteen years old, and went on to represent Mumbai domestically and India internationally for more than twenty years.

Tendulkar was born at Nirmal Nursing Home, Dadar, Mumbai, on 24 April 1973. His father Ramesh Tendulkar was a reputed Marathi novelist and his mother Rajni worked in the insurance industry.Ramesh named Tendulkar after his favourite music director, Sachin Dev Burman. Tendulkar has three elder siblings: two half-brothers Nitin and Ajit, and a half-sister Savita. They were Ramesh's children from his first marriage. He spent his formative years in the Sahitya Sahawas Cooperative Housing Society, Bandra (East). As a young boy, Tendulkar was considered a bully, and often picked up fights with new children in his school. He also showed an interest in tennis, idolising John McEnroe. To help curb his mischievous and bullying tendencies, Ajit introduced him to cricket in 1984. He introduced the young Sachin to Ramakant Achrekar, a famous cricket coach and a club cricketer of repute, at Shivaji Park, Dadar.

Achrekar was impressed with Tendulkar's talent and advised him to shift his schooling to Sharadashram Vidyamandir (English) High School, a school at Dadar which had a dominant cricket team and had produced many notable cricketers. Prior to this, Tendulkar had attended the Indian Education Society's New English School in Bandra (East). He was also coached under the guidance of Achrekar at Shivaji Park in the mornings and evenings. Tendulkar would practice for hours on end in the nets. If he became exhausted, Achrekar would put a one-rupee coin on the top of the stumps, and the bowler who dismissed Tendulkar would get the coin. If Tendulkar passed the whole session without getting dismissed, the coach would give him the coin. Tendulkar now considers the 13 coins he won then as some of his most prized possessions. He moved in with his aunt and uncle, who lived near Shivaji Park, during this period, due to his hectic schedule.
Meanwhile at school, he developed a reputation as a child prodigy.

Tendulkar's Mumbai teammates joined in the encomiums but the most memorable ones were from Haryana's Ajay Jadeja, who admitted his side lost the game because they couldn't get Tendulkar out.

"You call him 'god', I've always called him 'master'. But if he is 'god', who can fight with 'god?' Tendulkar showed today that the journey never ends, that learning never stops. He remained not out, that means his score here is infinite. If he had needed to score 30-40 more, he would have done that too. The plan was very simple. We needed to get Sachin out but we couldn't do it."

The debut test: – At 16 years 205 days Sachin Tendulkar made his test debut in Karachi, against the lethal Pakistan bowling attack in the form of Waqar Younis and Wasim Akram. He scored just 15 runs in the 1st test but came back well in the next one by scoring a defiant 59 runs after being hit by a fast bouncer from Waqar.

Sharjah,1998: – India won both the tri-series in Sharjah that year and the man behind that success was –undoubtedly- Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar. The mind-blowing innings that he played, particularly against Australia, increased his fan following. I still remember Sachin’s six in the 22nd over of the innings bowled by Shane Warne. The ball went over Warne’s head and he gave a helpless expression to Tendulkar.

Probably because of such batting Shane Warne says,

“I would go to bed having nightmares of Sachin dancing down the ground and hitting me for sixes”.

The next tri series involving Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe was also convincingly won by India. Tendulkar was dismissed by a short pitched bouncer from Henry Olonga in a match but the little master went for the kill in the final. Sachin scored a century and with the help of Saurav Ganguly, the team won the match by 10 wickets. Henry Olonga was nothing before Sachin Tendulkar as he conceded 50 runs in his 6 overs.

He scored a mammoth 709 runs in 10 innings played at Sharjah that year.

Bradman’s Invitation: – Sachin Tendulkar was in the 9th year of his cricketing career when he got a call from the legendary Don Bradman to visit the latter on his 90th birthday. He accompanied Shane Warne as the duo visited Bradman.

Century dedicated to his father: – In a 1999 world cup match against Kenya, he dedicated his century to his departed father. He overcomed his grief and scored a beautiful century.

“1st man on the planet to score 200 in an ODI”: -On 24th February 2009, he became the 1st man to score 200 in ODI history. The way he started that innings, it clearly seemed as if he was heading for a big score. His accurate stroke play was consistent from the 1st ball and after scoring the 200th run, Ravi Shastri said the above phrase from the commentary box.

100th 100: – After the 2011 world cup, billions of Sachin fans waited and waited for the 100th 100. He had got many opportunities of scoring but failed. He was very close to reach that milestone but got out in the 90’s two times(91 at Oval and 94 at Wankhede).

But the day finally came during an Asia cup match against Bangladesh. On 16th March 2012, the world saluted the little master for scoring the most awaited century after which Sachin said- “I have lost 50 kilos”.

200th test: – Sachin Tendulkar has expressed his desire to play this test on home soil i.e. at the Wankhede Stadium.

After that test the Indian team will be without the little master.

After 24 years, there will be no mention of “SACHIN TENDULKAR” in the Indian squad. A great responsibility will rely on the younger players to make up for the loss of- THE MASTER BLASTER.

All sportsmen wish they could be just a bit better. If only the ratio of good days to bad could be rebalanced slightly in your favour. If only the voice of self-doubt were quieter and more easily quelled. If only the threat of being dropped or demoted was not so ever-present..

He indeed is an ICON ...A legend ....A prodigy...There could never be another sachin..
Sachin has been an ERA.
"If cricket is a religion , Sachin will always be its God."

In To The Light...

While they are busy bracing up their weapons, giving power to their deeds, sane or sin, nothing matters to them, for their souls delves in darkness, for they cannot see, cannot sense.
While they are busy plotting and connecting dots, setting their trap and bringing forth something they should not. Something they should fear.
While they are deep in dark, not one spark of light, harkening to their dark lords , kneeling before them, brimmed up in their influence.
While they are not in their minds, well fooled into darkness, harming even their own light.
While they are proud of something that which has no lights of its own, heart full of confidence, nothing but a mere disguise of their own destruction. Kind of confidence that shines among their own, and not a ray beyond.

 While then..
Where was i ?

Completely unaware , shining in my very own light, the one which is sacred to one and all, that kneels before nothing but God.
Completely human being to friends and to even those who are influenced with darkness, who are forging an act against me.
Completely unaware that a world exists too, and few of my very own are burning to the point of nothing.
Completely unaware that a few of my own are preparing something against me.
Completely unaware, as innocent as one young and fresh petal, full of nectar.
Completely unaware in my very own stillness, that fortunately holds the key to the door afar, beyond the dark, into the light.
Completely unaware nothing more than a bait to those.

Trapped, victimized by the dark, into the dark,By such beasts and no strangers, but few of my very own, some of whom I supported, some of whom I spend my quality time with.

Now they are not, for they belong to the dark, now i know. Beast, a stranger is better than that. Evil laughs at nothing but to its own self destruction.

Aware, Now i am. Aware of the world beyond the light.

A Love in my life. . .!!!

Pet is a common thing in everyone's life. . .but to have a pet who has become a part of your
life. . .precisely. . .your life. . .is not a common thing. . .and that was happened in my
life. . .i could not mention him as a pet. . .as he was a member of our little family. . .
like he was my elder brother than a pet dog. . .i still remember my mom saying that toffy
was her first kid and i'm only the second. . .it does hurt then but now am feeling proud
to have a mom like her. . .He was considered very special coz he was the engagement gift
to my mom from my dad. . .he was an one month pup on that time. . .and i'm pretty sure
that he would have not missed his mum that much. . .as my mom gave him complete love
as a mother. . .its more like a story of  "MARLEY AND ME". .his presence made me feel
that life is worth living for someone like him as he not just a dog. .. i have never
and ever mentioned him in that term and never will. . .His eyes told me many things
that none has ever even tried to teach me. . .he taught me love. ..sharing. . .
As i was the only kid. . .the term sharing has no meaning or even a place in my dictionary
but i loved to share everything with him. . .he was more like a brother to me. . .
I could remember an incident that happend when i was 5. . my mom scolded me badly as i
refused to eat spinach. . at that time that scoldings hurt me very badly. . .my dad was at
work. . .i couldn't resist my tears.  ..i could not cry before my mom. . .so who would be my
choice. . .i finally ended up confessing to him. .i neither have anidea of what he understood
nor what i confessed at that age. . .but the relation what we both had ccould never be
expressed in words. . .

And after him i have raised nearly 5 pets and i'm telling you he is definetely not a
random dog. . .i gave the same love actually more love to the next pets than i gave him
but what i got in return was entirely different. . .but ofcourse they loved me but i'm
sure that thats not as much as he did. . .he was something very special to me. . .i was
able to see the beauty in his eyes which i could not find in any other pups. .!!! I could
remember him treating me as a kid. . .but the thing is. .he was a kid too. . he is a
matured dog. . .a well matured one. . .I seriously have no idea of what i gave him when
he was with me. . .but the moment he left me.  . .i started to feel his presence even
more . . .this may seem more for a dog. . .but if he is seen as a best buddy this is
nothing. . .and he was the best companion i ever had. . .

I have wondered a lot of times thinking why he is very special to me. . .and till
now i have no reason for that and that may be coz "LOVE WITHOUT REASONS LAST THE LONGEST"
yeah. . .it has been nearly around 8 years since i lost him. . .but my love for him is
getting bigger every second. . .and may be thats why from the minute i lost him. . .
i could see his presence in every animal's eye. . .

Never could i digest was that i was not with him during his last minutes. . .
He would have missed me and his(my) mum and dad right??!!! But i could tell you that
my dad is the one who is missing him even more. . .coz toffy is the first and last
name he used to call . . .and for all the other pets we raised. . .he never said their
names. . .no one could. . .when you have someone who loves you more than anyother could
and you loose him all of a sudden. . .like. . .he came to you like a dream and disappears
like a dream. . .its like. . .thats when you hate the term "DREAM". . .but he wasn't a
dream to me. .. he was more than a reality . . .Even now if ever have a wish. . .i would wish
to have him back. . .with immortality. . .i ll never and ever wanna loose him again. . .
He was the love in my life. . .he is. . .and he will be. . .

I have longed to have a friend after his death. . .and i never got true ones. . .and
that s may be coz. . .NO ONE COULD EVER REPLACE HIS PLACE IN MY HEART AND LIFE. . .
i dont want anyone to. . .coz isn't it a great feel to have someone loving you more than
you do. . .n he's not your being to communicate the love. . . but you could just feel
it through his eyes. . .!!!! ITS AWESOME!!!!

He loved us soo much . . .so did we. . .but . . .why did u leave us toffy. . ??
Is it coz even God want to have you as his pet. . .or as a companion. . .but how
is it possible??? Coz when you have someone who loves you more than god he could not
take him right??!!! So god has betrayed me. . .But even now i'm praying to have you
my sweetheart. . .will you ever come back to me??? I want to have you again toffy. .
Uh. . .this blog has become a confession than a blog. . .but never mind. . .

THe thing is wherever you are WE LOVE YOU TOFFY!!!!!!!

YOU AND I , THE DAYS TOGETHER WE SPENT,
                        FROM DAY ONE OF MY BIRTH;
                           YOU GAVE ME LOVE;
                        AS SWEET AS HONEY COMB;
                   EVERY MORNING WHEN USED TO WAKE ME UP;
                GAVE ME JOY THAT WOKE ME UP FROM MY SORROWS;
THE LOVE AND AFFECTION WE BOTH HAD,
SAYS TO BE WITH YOU ALWAYS,
BUT NEVER COULD I DIGEST IS THAT MY LITTLE
                                           TOFFY IS NO MORE. . . !

Reason behind the beauty. . .

Flowers-the most beautiful creation of God . . . But have you ever wondered why they are
bestowed with such beauty..!?! Do you know that plants and flowers have an important role in
the evolution of human beings from the primitive stage. . .!! A flower, sometimes known as
a bloom or blossom, is the reproductive structure found in flowering plants (plants of the
division Magnoliophyta, also called angiosperms). The biological function of a flower is to
effect reproduction, usually by providing a mechanism for the union of sperm with eggs.
Flowers may facilitate outcrossing (fusion of sperm and eggs from different individuals in a
population) or allow selfing (fusion of sperm and egg from the same flower). Some flowers
produce diaspores without fertilization (parthenocarpy). Flowers contain sporangia and are
the site where gametophytes develop. Flowers give rise to fruit and seeds. Many flowers have
evolved to be attractive to animals, so as to cause them to be vectors for the transfer of
pollen.
In addition to facilitating the reproduction of flowering plants, flowers have long
admired and used by humans to beautify their environment, and also as objects of romance,
ritual, religion, medicine and as a source of food.

ORGAN DEVELOPMENT:

The molecular control of floral organ identity determination is fairly well understood.
In a simple model, three gene activities interact in a combinatorial manner to determine
the developmental identities of the organ primordia within the floral meristem. These gene
functions are called A, B and C-gene functions. In the first floral whorl only A-genes are
expressed, leading to the formation of sepals. In the second whorl both A- and B-genes are
expressed, leading to the formation of petals. In the third whorl, B and C genes interact to
form stamens and in the center of the flower C-genes alone give rise to carpels. The model is
based upon studies of homeotic mutants in Arabidopsis thaliana and snapdragon, Antirrhinum
majus. For example, when there is a loss of B-gene function, mutant flowers are produced with
sepals in the first whorl as usual, but also in the second whorl instead of the normal petal
formation. In the third whorl the lack of B function but presence of C-function mimics the
fourth whorl, leading to the formation of carpels also in the third whorl. See also The ABC
Model of Flower Development.

CLEVER IDEA TO POLLINATE:

Plants cannot move from one location to another, thus many flowers have evolved to attract
animals to transfer pollen between individuals in dispersed populations. Flowers that are
insect-pollinated are called entomophilous; literally "insect-loving" in Greek. They can be
highly modified along with the pollinating insects by co-evolution. Flowers commonly have
glands called nectaries on various parts that attract animals looking for nutritious nectar.
Birds and bees have color vision, enabling them to seek out "colorful" flowers. Some flowers
have patterns, called nectar guides, that show pollinators where to look for nectar; they may
be visible only under ultraviolet light, which is visible to bees and some other insects.
Flowers also attract pollinators by scent and some of those scents are pleasant to our sense
of smell. Not all flower scents are appealing to humans; a number of flowers are pollinated by
insects that are attracted to rotten flesh and have flowers that smell like dead animals,
often called Carrion flowers, including Rafflesia, the titan arum, and the North American
pawpaw (Asimina triloba). Flowers pollinated by night visitors, including bats and moths,
are likely to concentrate on scent to attract pollinators and most such flowers are white.

Still other flowers use mimicry to attract pollinators. Some species of orchids, for example,
produce flowers resembling female bees in color, shape, and scent. Male bees move from one
such flower to another in search of a mate
Most genes central in this model belong to the MADS-box genes and are transcription factors
that regulate the expression of the genes specific for each floral organ.

REASON FOR OUR VISION EVOLUTION:

The evolution of trichromatic color vision in primates occurred as the ancestors of modern
monkeys, apes, and humans switched to diurnal (daytime) activity and began consuming fruits
and leaves from flowering plants.[39] Color vision, with UV discrimination, is also present
in a number of arthropods – the only terrestrial animals besides the vertebrates to possess
this trait and this was made possible by the pollens contained within the flowers.

SO BEFORE YOU PICK A FLOWER THINK OF IT. . . .
